DWS brought together influential financial leaders tocelebrate its 25th anniversary at the Alte Oper Frankfurt. The financial world is an industry in transition—shaped by infrastructure, digitalization, and AI.

Inspired by the location, “The Sound of Finance” created a dialogue between artificial intelligence and classical live music. We used AI to translate the performance of the MSCI Index into music, transforming its highs and lows into a captivating composition—accompanied by breathtaking visuals and a light show.

The Sound of Finance is a groundbreaking dialogue between classical music and artificial intelligence. Using AI, we transformed the performance of the MSCI World Index over the last 25 years into a musical theme. The music was generated directly from the data—an attempt to give financial movements a sound.
The result is a compelling blend of musicians, AI, media, and light that unfolds on stage—immersive, powerful, and unlike anything you’ve heard and seen before.
