THE MAN MIRROR DRIVE
A ROAD TRIP FROM MUNICH TO BILBAO
To celebrate the new generation of Trucks by MAN we send one on a journey, from Munich in Germany to Bilbao in Spain, where the truck was finally presented to a selected audience. To keep the excitement high the truck was covered with mirror foil – but in fact it wasn’t. The mirror-surface was completely built in CGI. This way the truck itself became the perfect stage to tell an emotional story while showcasing beautiful landscapes, friendly people, stunning architecture – simply the whole beautiful journey.
EMOTIONALLY AND VISUALLY STUNNING
EVERYTHING IN PERFECT SYNC
To make the vision come true a lot of things had to happen at the same time, while one team filmed the truck on the road, another created over 30 CGI visuals that had to be mapped perfectly over the shots from the driving truck.
Film sequences had to be stabilized, unwanted elements replaced – to send the truck on a perfect journey, our teams prepared for a wild ride, creating an exciting premiere for us and MAN.

CREATES EMOTION
MAN Mirror Drive was a technical challenge and so much more. The final film told an emotional story about the special relationship a MAN Truck driver has with his vehicle.
The story covered the main benefits of the new generation Truck and underlined the core values of MAN: excellent driver fit, great efficiency & economy, optimised uptime and a strong partnership.
